Missions, dead mice & prawn dicks… 22/2/2018
I’m on a mission. Today it was so cold I didn’t want to leave the house. It was one of those bitterly cold days where you just can’t warm up and the fear of going out into it makes you feel sick! I forced myself to get dressed and I grabbed one of my Duvet coats from my own range. By the time I had walked round town and got back to the car I was sweating. The coats are THAT warm. It got me thinking that these are the sort of coats that homeless people need to stay warm especially with the weather expected to get even colder!!! I’m not selling loads of coats at the moment so I thought “sod it”, and I decided there and then to give a few away to some homeless people. I can’t really afford to but again I thought “sod it”. I’d rather give some away to people who REALLY need them than try and persuade people to buy them. They’re such beautiful coats and they really are the warmest coats I’ve ever owned in my life. So I spoke to my friend Dave after I made my decision and he said he would come with me. We are now trying to locate some homeless people in Essex so that I can drive the coats to them directly. I’d rather give them to a girl/lady simply because the coats are ladies coats. I’ll let you know how we get on…….
