F*ck you cancer 13th January 2020

It’s the 13th January and Billy and I turned full vegan today. Well, officially it was last night in bed but as of today we aren’t eating any more dairy products. As you know, I’ve been v vegetarian practically all my life and Billy has been veggie for about 6 months. We have finally taken the leap and cut out all dairy including eggs. The first thing I did when I got up today was clear out my fridge and cupboards of anything containing animal products; so all mayonnaise, sauces, garlic butter and even all my beloved chocolate!! I bagged up all the unopened products and took them to Sanctus homeless shelter in Chelmsford. I was due a trip there anyway as I had 4 big bags full of clothes for them after a clear out the other day.
Turning vegan from veggie is actually a huge step – when I think of all the things we can no longer eat!! But you know what? It’s been a long time coming. I have no excuse for why it’s taken me so long to turn vegan other than I just love cheese and butter and eggs! It was lying in bed last night
