Hello my friends. I hope you’re all doing well. Today I want to write about, well, what’s in the title of this blog. Why I’d rather be single than settle. You see, I often get people saying to me “Oh you’ll meet someone soon” (I don’t want to thanks) or “you’ll find it when you’re not looking” (maybe I should START looking then as I really don’t want to meet someone) or “I just want to see you settled with a lovely man” (aside from the fact that I might want a woman, if anyone at all, WHY do you want to see me settled with someone when I’m TOTALLY HAPPY on my own?). I just don’t get this “normality” that society rams down our throat that in order to be happy we absolutely HAVE to find our “ Happy Ending” with a partner.
